What you can expect from iphone 8 and iOS 11

iOS 11 is the next-generation version of iOS. As Apple CEO Tim Cook said on stage, the update takes the best and most advanced operating system and turns it up to 11. It’ll bring subtle design changes to interface elements throughout the operating system. Text is bolder, apps like Calculator and Phone have a new look, and the Lock screen and Control Center have been entirely redesigned.
The Control Center is customizable and there are options to include a wider range of settings. It's no longer split across multiple screens, and 3D Touch integration has expanded, so you can do more without needing to open the Settings app.
As for the Lock screen, it's been merged with Notification Center. Swiping down on the screen to access notifications now brings up the Lock screen. Today view continues to be available with a side swipe, and everything generally looks the same -- there's just no separate Notification Center anymore.The iOS 11 release date may be Wednesday, 13th September 2017, as Apple gets the software update out there between the iPhone unveiling and its actual shipping date. With the iPhone 8 launch event invites set for Tuesday, September 12, we're a few short days from big changes for your iPhone and iPad.
iOS 11 is transforming your iPhone and iPad, and Apple's update is either out right now or coming this month, September, depending on who you are. It's an especially big upgrade for the iPad, which can be considered a laptop replacement (for some people) thanks to revamped iOS multitasking. Both the iPad and iPhone get a much-needed Control Center reorganization, too.There are new camera modes, Siri is smarter, and iOS 11 (finally) thrusts Apple to the forefront of augmented reality innovation with ARKit.
iOS 11 is limited to developers and public beta testers at the current time, with Apple planning a fall public release alongside new iPhones. Apple has sent out invites for its next big event on September 12th, where the company is expected to reveal the next iPhone, along with updates to the Apple Watch, Apple TV, and iOS software. Apple is widely expected to announce three new iPhones at the event: a next-generation iPhone 8 model with an edge-to-edge OLED display and a new 3D face-scanning camera. Apple usually begins shipping the iPhone models in two weeks in the United States, and make the new models available in India in about four weeks to six weeks. So we can expect the iphone 8 in India by the beginning of October 2017.
