Edukemy plans to acquire 1 million subscribers within a year

Competitive test preparation platform Edukemy plans to acquire a million subscribers over the next nine to ten months, with at least 100,000 of them as paid users.

Edukemy’s sales nearly quadrupled in the last ten months after expansion and an approach based on the Teaching, Content, and Evaluation (TCE) model.

"We have grown at a faster rate than expected, and it was entirely because of our unique and innovative approach to infuse education into edtech and introduce the 'Learner First' approach in the industry. This approach maximizes the student potential and breaks the old school teaching method of 'One-size-fits-all' through our TCE model," Chandrahas Panigrahi, co-founder and CEO, Edukemy, said.

"We aim to integrate the century-old tradition of student-teacher interaction with the personalized feedback mechanism into our technology-driven solution, and we expect this to help us in getting more paid subscribers."

With 1.04 billion minutes consumed by students on YouTube so far, Edukemy claims to be one of the fastest-growing engagement platforms in the education segment, catering to thousands of aspirants daily by providing free quality content for UPSC CSE and other government exams.

Since its inception, it has witnessed 51 students making it to the UPSC 2020 selections, including 7 in the top 100.
