Actress Tunisha Sharma, who was found dead on the sets of her TV show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul' on December 24, was reportedly the sole earning member of her family. Her last rites will be conducted at her Mumbai residence on Tuesday.
Tunisha is survived by her mother, who is completely devastated after the death of her 20-year-old daughter. As per a report, Tunisha's death has left her mother alone with property worth Rs 15 crore and a luxurious apartment in the suburbs of Mumbai.
Tunisha hung herself in the makeup room of her show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul' on December 24. She was rushed to the hospital by the crew members of the show but was declared dead on arrival. The actress was reportedly depressed for several days prior to her death because of her break up with co-star Sheezan Khan.
The two allegedly broke up just 15 days before the actress claimed her life.
Post Tunisha's demise, her mother filed a complaint against Sheezan for abetting her suicide. In a video, the mother stated, "I want to tell everyone that Sheezan cheated on Tunisha. He got into a relationship with her, promised to marry her, used her for 3-4 months, before eventually breaking up with her. He was already involved with another woman and even then he dated Tunisha. I just want to say that do not spare Sheezan. I have lost my daughter forever."
Sheezan was arrested in the early hours of December 25 and was sent to police custody for four days.
Tunisha was playing the lead role of 'Mariyam' on Sony SAB's show 'Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul'. She started acting when she was just a kid and made her Bollywood debut with the film 'Fitoor', where she played the younger version of Katrina Kaif.
She again played the younger Katrina in 'Baar Baar Dekho'. Apart from this, Tunisha also shared screen space with Vidya Balan in 'Kahaani 2'.
