As per the source and unconfirmed report, Kartik Sahani to join CrowdStrike as the leader to fill gap. Kartik Shahani was working as the Managing Director at Tenable India/SAARC.
Today, CrowdStrike is a leader in cloud-delivered endpoint and workload protection. However, recently CrowdStrike was in the news for the software error that crashed 8.5mn Windows devices on July 19.
The significant outages has reportedly caused billions of dollars in damages by grounding thousands of flights and disrupting hospital appointments globally, have intensified scrutiny from both regulators and business leaders. The focus of this heightened attention is on the level of access that third-party software vendors have to the core, or kernel, of Windows operating systems.
According to the source, Microsoft is planning to host a summit this month that will bring together government representatives and cybersecurity companies, including CrowdStrike. The goal of this summit is to "discuss concrete steps we will all take to improve security and resiliency for our joint customers."
