Infinix launches its stylus NOTE device

Infinix has added another marvel to its “all-rounder” NOTE series. Infinix NOTE series has been recognized to offer intelligent devices, and NOTE 5 Stylus builds on this legacy that delivers the best NOTE experience in the mid-range segment with an all-new XPen for the first time ever. The device is priced at Rs.5,999 and is available in a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant in two colours: Bordeaux Red and Charcoal Blue. It will be available exclusively via Flipkart and sale will start from 4thDecember, 2018.

The XPen of NOTE 5 comes with 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, so the lines are finer and more detailed as natural as putting pen to paper. Additionally, it is equipped with superfast charge function giving 90 mins output from20 seconds of XPen charge. Air command function of XPen gives access to many other signature features of Stylus such as Click the button to Open the Xpen menu from any window, Double click the button to open a new memo, Long press button to Switch between eraser and pen/brush while taking notes or painting.
Not only this, NOTE 5 Stylus is made intelligent as it can calculate from simple mathematical calculations to most difficult ones. What makes it even more intelligent is XPen ability to recognize user’s handwriting. So whether users are writing in Hindi or English, it detects and formats to give the desired output. These two features of calculation and handwriting recognition would be released through OTA by the end of December, 2018.
Underpinning its key USP of NOTE 5 series, this is the second Google Android One device by brand. The smartphone runs with Android Oreo 8.1 OS combining Google’s smartly designed software, from the latest AI powered innovations such as Google Lens and Google Assistance to the highest grade of security, with beautifully designed hardware. The software functions smoothly with no bloatware or UI customizations to deliver an uncluttered android experience.
The device is a fine balance of aesthetics and functionality. Housed in a full metallic body design, the 5.93” FHD+ Full View display is incredibly bright and has vivid colours with 18:9 aspect ratio. Its 85% NTSC colour gamut helps in vising the natural color reproduction and 500 nits ensure better viewing in bright lighting condition. Also, it has 2.5D curved glass and fluidic edge design, which enhances its beauty.
Making the photography more intuitive, Infinix NOTE 5 Stylus is endowed 16MP AI rear camera which helps in capturing brighter and sharper photographs in low light condition with f/1.8 aperture and dual LED flash. The smartphone boasts of AI-based Auto Scene Detection (ASD) feature to enhance overall photography experience in outdoor scenario. When taking pictures, it automatically detects the scene details and with the help of its deep learning algorithm, it intelligently matches the best camera parameters to the current scene, producing a perfect photo. It also supports AI based Portrait mode.
Moving onto the Selfie camera of the smartphone, it is enabled with 16MP f/2.0, and comes with AI beauty mode that produces the best suitable beauty mode for each user by automatically detecting 255 facial points of person with the help of its deep learning algorithm. It also supports AI Bokeh mode and Wide Selfie. Additionally, it is equipped with 4-in-1 pixel technology and soft light flash which further enhances selfies even in low-light conditions.
Following the brand’s debut in India last year in 2017, Infinix’ s momentum has grown to 8 SKUs and has a strong product portfolio starting from Smart2 in two variants priced at Rs.5,999 and Rs.6,999, respectively, HOT6 Pro Rs.7,999, HOT S3X Rs.9,999, Note 5 in two variants at Rs.9,999 and Rs.11,999 and Zero5 being the flagship at Rs.17,999 and Rs.19,999.
