Jaden Ashman, 15, won £1m at Fortnite tournament

A British fifteen-year-old competed under the name Wolfiez won the three-day Fornite finals,which has held inside the Arthur Ashe tennis stadium in New York, which also hosts the final of the US Open. Jaden had won £1.8m playing Fortnite and tells his mother, who hates games and once threw out his Xbox: 'I wasn't wasting time for eight hours a day!'

Jaden Ashman said, he is happy to have shown his mother that he was not just wasting time in his bedroom. Jaden will split 2.25 million US dollars (£1.8 million) with his Dutch partner, Dave Jong, after the pair came second in the duos sections at the first Fortnite World Cup.
More than 2 million people watched the best in the world compete for big money.The free video game from developer Epic Games has generated billions of dollars and become an obsession for gamers of all ages.The biggest of them all is the Fortnite World Cup, and the one who took it all on Sunday was Kyle "Bugha" Giersdorf. The Fortnite World Cup Finals, with a $30 million prize pool, take place July 26-28 in New York City at the Arthur Ashe Stadium.
