Vodafone Idea ropes in Sujeet Sharma as VP- Active Network, Commercial

Sujeet Sharma has taken over as Vice President – Active Network, Commercial of Vodafone Idea. He will oversee the procurement for the company.
Prior to Vodafone Idea, he served Bharti Airtel for 15 years and he last held the position of VP & Head of Infrastructure Procurement and Operations. He joined Airtel in 2007 as Senior Manager in the Supply Chain Department and moved on to roles like Deputy General Manager, and General Manager in the Department.
Before associating with Airtel, he served the erstwhile Idea Cellular for six years. He joined the company as Senior Executive - Materials in 2001. His last position at Idea was as Manager - Material which he held till his exit in October 2007.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Pune University (1998) and has completed Diploma courses in Supply Chain Management from Indian Institute of Management and Indian School of Business over the course of his 23 year long career.
