Bollywood's favourite couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani tie the knot

It is official now that Bollywood's favourite couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have tied the knot on February 7 at the exotic Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Their wedding functions reportedly started from February 5.

 

Sidharth and Kiara made their wedding official by sharing the first pictures from their wedding posing as husband and wife, leaving the fans wanting for more. Both the stars have never opened up about their relationship in public before this.

 

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani reached Jaisalmer on February 4 with their respective families. The couple kick-started their pre-wedding festivities on February 5, first with their mehendi ceremony, the Haldi ceremony on February 6 morning and then the wedding, which was earlier expected to take place on February 6 but later changed to February 7. 

 

Sidharth and Kiara have invited a few names from the tinsel town to their wedding. Kara Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Mira Rajput, Akash Ambani, Ashivni Yardi, and Aarti Shetty landed in Jaisalmer for the wedding festivities.

 

According to reports, Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani's wedding menu boasted of delicious local delicacies such as Dal Baati Churma and more. Among the food preparations made were eight types of churma, five types of baati and more delicious local food. Awadhi specialties and Royal Rajputana food were also included in the menu, besides having Rajasthani and Punjabi winter delicacies. Reports also suggested that there were Italian, Chinese, Thai and Korean food counters too. There were over 20 varieties of desserts too!

 

Kiara and Sidharth's wedding was sort of a carnival for their guests. Several stalls were put up including customised luc chudi stall, lehriya dupatta/saree stall, wooden handicrafts and more. There were also folk dancers.

 

Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani also announced a ‘no phone policy’ for the guests, and the hotel staff were also informed about the same. The guests of both bride and groom have been requested not to post any pictures of the wedding on social media.
